PATH was founded by people who have dedicated their lives to education and child development. In association with Playhouse Academy, PATH was created with a clear conviction: that the first years of a child’s life deserve the very best — not just academically, but holistically.

Dr. Astrid HW-Levi
Principal & Co-Founder
Dr. Astrid brings over two decades of experience in education, with a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and two Master’s degrees in psychology and early childhood education. Dr Astrid ensures Path’s academic standards and developmental philosophy are world-class and relevant to the needs of children. She is also a Cambridge Early Years consultant and trainer for schools and educators.
Amanda Christie
Co-Founder
Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bayes Business School and a Master of Social Science in Management Studies from London School of Economics. Driven by her passion for children’s education, she oversees marketing and business development at PATH, ensuring the school grows with purpose, quality, and a commitment to nurturing well-rounded children.
Monica Marthen
Co-Founder
Monica holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of San Francisco and brings extensive experience in finance, business development, and strategic growth into the education industry. She has a passion for creating meaningful early childhood learning experiences that nurture academic, emotional, and creative development. As a visionary leader, Monica is committed to growing Path Academy with purpose and integrity, building strong partnerships with families and communities while fostering environments where children can thrive.
Liana Lauwira
Co-Founder
Liana is Backed by a BA in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the UK and her experience as Assistant Director of Rooms at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, Liana brings a strong culture of care, organisation, and attention to detail to Path Academy. She plays a key role in ensuring a warm, well-managed environment where every child and family feels welcomed, supported, and purposefully cared for from the very first step.
At PATH we have built a second home, where little hearts are nurtured, curious minds are encouraged, and strong foundations are gently built. We walk alongside families to help raise confident, compassionate and well-rounded children.
